The RailPulse Certified TELEMATICS Vendor Program
RailPulse provides an industry-wide railcar information infrastructure that leverages data from GPS and railcar-mounted sensors to track the location, condition, and health of railcars. RailPulse has developed the RailPulse Certified Telematics Vendor Program to ensure that the data collected by telematic equipment is accurate, reliable, consistent, and secure.
THIS PROGRAM IS DESIGNED TO CERTIFY THAT:
- All telematic equipment that is installed on railcars in RailPulse meets minimum industry standards for data quality, performance, reporting cadence and latency, mechanical robustness, safety, and ongoing support.
- Vendors comply with the RailPulse standards for nomenclature and data interface, which facilitate the integration and interoperability of the data with the RailPulse platform.
